Xaloc, Isla Holbox ... Between the sky and the sea... Xaloc is an 18 room boutique resort with pools, restaurant, boutique and a really cool hammock cathedral. A lovely spot located right on the edge of Holbox village.

Xaloc (Sha-lock) the Maorcan name for the southeast wind ... a fitting namesake for this carefree seaside resort. Between the sky and the sea, at the northern tip of Yucatan Peninsula, you will find us, the place you've dreamt of, where the time has another measure. Holbox is a place to forget your daily routine and feel the rhythms of nature.

It's easy to imagine your vacation at Xaloc. You'll rest in a hammock, watch the gliding pelicans, swim among dolphins, leave your footsteps in miles virgin beaches or get lost among the mangroves. You'll gain the knowledge that there are still pieces of paradise on earth.

Xaloc consists of only 18 rooms nestled beneath traditional thatch roofs. Here, you won't have the temptation to party 'til dawn in the hotel disco! We're about quieter, simpler pleasures.
